Note From Grand Knight Tom Doyle

 

Just a short note to wish all Knights and their families a Blessed Easter and a hope that you are able to spend time with your family during this holy season.

 

I would also like to thank Brother Mike Breen and all who helped to make our Saint Patrick's evening such a great success. When planning for this event we figured we'd be extremely successful if we sold 150 tickets for this event but thanks to the efforts of Mike and a number of our Brother Knights about 160 people attended and were not disappointed.  It was an all round great evening.

 

We had our membership drive in March and I would like to thank all brother Knights who helped to promote this by wearing our Knights emblem at the masses leading up to the March drive.  We weren't as successful as we would have liked however we have a few more men who have expressed interest in joining but couldn't make it out for our open house/information night last week.

It is important that we continue to invite all men of our parish to join the Knights.  We currently have 132 members however that only represents a very small percentage of the men in our parish who are eligible to join. Please keep up the efforts to grow our council and bring in new members.

 

Finally, please join me in praying for the repose of the soul of Florent Bossuyt, father of Brother Gary Bossuyt. Our thoughts and prayers to out to Gary and the Bossuyt at this difficult time.
